The Midnight Song is a narrative film from Visual Alchemy that follows immigrant artists in Austin as they confront the realities of Alzheimer’s in their families. It weaves memory, identity, and care into a story about what it takes to keep creating when the mind begins to fade. Community screenings pair the film with conversations on cultural preservation and mental health.

Documentary

Rest & Resistance: Stories in Motion is a documentary series by Essam Osman that follows the Austin Social Dance Alliance to explore migration, displacement, and belonging through social dance. The series shows how dance can be rest, refuge, and resistance all at once. Screenings include filmmaker panels, mentorship workshops, and accessibility training for inclusive media practice. Movement becomes a map for healing and community.
