We ask Austinites where we feel sense of belonging.
Asking this question empowered artists through transitory states of houselessness.
Their response? You can have a house and be homeless. You can be unhoused and have a home.
Asking this question blew our hearts wide open and birthed our art block party, Draw Together. It moves around town, as do our artists, from City Hall to across from the Capital, to hotels, Camp Esperanza, and now to the ESB-Mexican American Cultural Center.
Artists are SUPERHEROS who make the earth GLOW!
