🌎 XYZ Atlas 🌍
We ask Austinites where we feel sense of belonging. The past three years we have focused our programing on empowering artists experiencing chronic and transitory states of houselessness. Where do you belong when you have a home but not a house? Asking this question blew our hearts wide open and birthed our art block party, Draw Together. It moves around town, as do our artists, from City Hall to across from the Capital, to hotels, Camp Esperanza, and now to the ESB-Mexican American Cultural Center.

The only lasting truth is change. How do we continue to Draw Together through the change?

We are raising $5,000 to be matched by a grant from the Better Business Bureau to pay dignified salaries to artists transitioning finding their home and sense of belonging to dream up, collaborate and take the lead on Draw Together events in 2022. 100% goes directly to the artists!

💙 The Freeze 🥶
People are still recovering physically and emotionally from the ice apocalypse of 2021 and the next one in 2022 according to the farmer’s almanac will be even worse. All we have is each other and we believe in mutual solidarity. This isn’t charity. We are drawing together, gathering warm clothes donations, and raising money to support our artists who keep Austin alive with art!
