DJ'S:
Amy Morrow, Sabrina Reitman, and John Escobedo
Amy Morrow starts with her soulful set, and Broadway goddess fairy Sabrina Reitman and the championing John Escobedo absolutely slay for the pre-Halloween Sunday finalé.
FUSION SOCIAL DANCE:
Mr. Jungle Book Kipling said it best “Oh, East is East, and West is West, and never the twain shall meet…But there is neither East nor West, Border, nor Breed, nor Birth, When two strong men stand face to face, though they come from the ends of the earth!”
Bring your tango; bring your lindy; bring blues; bring east; bring west; bring everything you got – and leave it on the dance floor!
The stage is set, the lights are dramatically dim, and you have the entire theater to yourselves.
CLASS:
Amy Morrow has traveled the world for the past 12 years teaching by day and social dancing by night. She was the first certification graduate of Gaga, the renowned movement language of Ohad Naharin of Batsheva Dance Company in Tel Aviv. Tools from this practice as well as her 20 years as a dance performer influence her dynamic range of movement possibilities, rhythm, sensual texture, playful form, and attunement to her dance partners. It’s fun, it could be life changing, but it’s not that deep. Come play! www.thetheorists.org/bio
BY DONATION:
