About the event
Backstory:
During the Icepocalypse, we met Denver, an artist, journalist, and visionary. Five years ago, he camped under the 30' XYZ Atlas sculpture. Today, he is handcrafting his own sculptures. One of his many dreams is to share his story through art and help others do the same. Your donation will match XYZ Atlas to commission Denver's Draw Together dream, block parties for neighbors experiencing homelessness to move, make, and draw together.
Who:
Co-created by Denver Gonzales and artists at Camp Esperanza with The Other One's Foundation and Free Lunch
Why:
Fisterra Project's mission through the XYZ Atlas is to explore how visual art can help people make deep and transformational insights into their lives. Art can be a powerful tool for change.
